Album Review: Trey Songz- Ready
Well its clear that right now, the boy Songz is doing his thing. He's tearing it up w/ his remixes of current songs, and that Anticipation mixtape might as well be a modern day 12 play. The long awaited 'Ready' is Trey's 3rd studio album and undoubedtly his best to date. Songz seems to have found his lane, a good group of producers, and is quite in touch w/ what his fans WANT. While he's not ur Usher/Chris Brown dancer r&b guy, or ur Mario 'sing me to sleep cuz Im so SWEET' type either. He makes good 'bedroom' songz, good 'want u back' songs, etc and does it w/ the flair of a dude from the streets (if thats possible for an R&B cat). Im NOT posting the whole album, or even multiple songz, b/c you SHOULD go and support 'Ready' on Sept 1st, u won't be disappointed. Here's a panty droppa for ur troubles

Here's a new one from O featuring Weezy. At first listen, I wasnt really diggin it, but it def has grown on me. Looks like Wayne is building Young Money w/ a bunch of the teeny bopper's now that he has Omarion and Bow Wow under his belt. Anything not to have Gudda Gudda on another song..EVER

Here's some new music from Ursha off a soon to be released mixtape. Word is his new album, tentively titled Monster is just about finished, which means a single should be coming soon. Album is suppose to be less personal, and more of 'what the people want.'..Add that to the fact he's goin through a very public divorce, seems like Ush thrives under turmoil (*cough* Confessions)
