Kanye West- Pinocchio Story (live from Singapore)

Here's the visual of the last song on 808's and Heartbreak, which is the live, freestyled Pinocchio Story. This song is about as deep and personal as they get, and u can feel the pain in 'Ye's voice

Ne-yo- Mad

This is a GREAT video and makes u wonder why more videos don't tell a story and still keep it creative...

Jamie Foxx- Why (Prod by Tricky Stewart)

Well if u know anything about Tricky Stewart, u know he doesn't make anything but hits..This one is no different...Intiution is continuing to climb the list of anticipation....

Usher- The Dirt

Well maybe this is a sign to come, and it might signal a reintroduction of the 'bad guy' side of Usher (if a R&B cat can really be bad???)...He tried to keep it personal, but unfortunately many people had the image of the pre-marriage Usher stuck in their head, and all the marital bliss discussed on Here I Stand just didn't appeal to all...I personally thought the CD was a banger, but his core fan base (women) prob weren't on hearing about Tameka Foster for 17 songs...

Jamie Foxx- Number One (ft Lil' Wayne)

Well J.Foxx might as well jumped on the 999,999,999th remix of A-milli with the way this track sounds off the jump...Nonetheless its HOTTT and will be featured on next months release of 'Intiution.'

Lloyd- Loverboy

Anyone who has NOT gave Lloyd's last 2 CDs (Street Love and Lessons In Love) a good, thorough listen, has missed out on one of the most underrated R&B artist around right now. Both were FIRE, and while Lloyd' voice might not be the strongest, he knows how to make it work, especially over a hot beat. Hears some new material from Lloyd, check it...

The Dream- Rockin That Thang

Here's some new material from The Dream, supposedly off of his new album. Pretty radio friendly track that I wouldn't be surprised to hear as a single at some point..Check it out

Thursday Visuals....

Slim- Good Lovin (ft Ryan Leslie and Fabolous)

Keri Hilson- Turnin' Me On (ft Lil Wayne)

Lykke li Ft Drake- Little Bit

Drake gets on his Kanye stuff with this one, but its still his own style and hott as ever..Lykke Li (WTH???) adds a cool, Cassie-esque flavor to the joint. This definitely sounds like it could have been on Kanye's new CD...

Ludacris- Theater Of The Mind

So Chris "Ludacris" Bridges said that his new 'Theater Of The Mind' CD was a classic. After a quick run through of all the tracks, I can honestly say while we don't have "Reasonable Doubt", or "Ready To Die" on our hands, Luda has really brought it, from his usual strong lyrical word-play, to hot production, to tons of features (10 out of the 14 tracks feature another BIG name artist). That being said, make sure you go out to the nearest music store and cop this joint next MONDAY (yes Monday instead of Tuesday).

Videos

Robin Thicke- Sweetest Love

Rihanna- Rehab (ft. Justin Timberlake)

Coldplay- Lost (ft. Jay-Z)

Young Jeezy- Crazy World

Slim- Love's Crazy

Slim's debut album Love's Crazy has sprung a leak (surprisingly late considering it comes out Tuesday), and I'm feeling it pretty so far thru the first couple listens. 112 was/is one of my favorite R&B groups and I was expecting some heat from Slim, and it seems like he delivered. Make sure to go out and buy the album on Tuesday (11/18) and support Slim. Here are some select tracks that are early favorites of mine (besides the ones I've already posted).

Sweet Baby

Don't Say It

Lil Wayne- Stuntin (ft Drake)

Instead of posting the songs every other blog is posting from the Dedication 3, here's one with Drake, who seems to become pretty tight with Weezy and appears to have his full backing. Little known fact, Wayne actually spit a Drake verse at the MTV awards early this year

Kanye West- Heartless (Video)

This video is dope to me, check it out

Usher- At The Time (Prod By T-Pain)

So, when we last left Usher, he was trying to figure out what to do to save his career after the lack luster sales performance of his Album Here I Stand (which is crazy to me considering from a mature standpoint that looks at evolution of an artist, H.I.S. might've been just as good as an album as the 'untouchable' Confessions IMO)...Well now, while in the midst of touring, it seems as though Mr. Entertainment has decided to try again, with the help from the likes of Ne-yo and others, and a brand new album is supposedly being geared up for the top of the year....

We'll see what happens, but in the mean time, here's a left over that is actually pretty cool, and features man-of-the-minute T-Pain production...Enjoy

At The Time

Go Hard- DJ Khaled ft Kanye West and T-Pain (Video)

Ne-Yo- My Diamond

Year Of The Gentleman was a pretty good album, I won't argue that. But to be totally 100, I expected a little more on the 3rd time around from Ne-yo. With the amount of solid, unreleased material that has surfaced, granted alot of them are demos, I'm starting to think that song selection might have been the issue. This is ANOTHER banger that is different, articulated like no other current artist is doing, and seemingly a good fit for the album title...Re-release????

T.I. feat Plies- Rydin

Even though standing these two "Giants" of rap on each others shoulders will leave you short of a regulation NBA rim (10 feet for those of you ignorant to that fact), they undoubtedly have a huge sound and presence when their lyrics are laid over a beat. Add a Nitti beat to the equation and you've got a song that requires a listen...

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

Novermber 4th, 11pm Eastern Standard Time: I WILL NEVER FORGET WHERE I WAS WHEN THE 1ST BLACK PRESIDENT IN UNITED STATES HISTORY WAS ELECTED. I can't remember a time when I was more proud to be an American. As this is a music blog, I'll let Jay-Z sum it up

'Rosa sat so Martin could walk. Martin Walked so Barack could run. Barack ran so our children could fly!'

Thank you for the courage, strength, and perseverance to run and become the US President Barack! While there is alot of work to do, I truly believe you are the man for the job. I am completely behind you, and hope the rest of the country is also because while u are seen as a savior, I know you cannot do it by your self....God bless

Ludacris (ft T-Pain)- One More Drink

Anyway....

Here's another track from Kanye's 808's and Heartbreak, once again on some COMPLETELY different stuff. Im actually digging the material I've heard so far, and respect 'Ye for trying something different..Man, sounds like homie went through some stuff w/ Alexis...(THX Y2k)

Drake- Friends With Money

Here is Drake's supposed first single, Friends With Money, off of his upcoming 'Thank Me Later' debut CD. If ur a PNL frequent, u already know that Drake is one of our 'next to blow up' picks...Witty lyrics, tight flow, and word play is Drake's game, check it out...

T.G.I.S....

Well we've officially made it to November, and do to some questionable Halloween choices of my own last night, I'm just coming around at 7pm. I hope everyone had a fun and safe night, ( and maybe caught a glimpse or two of the curve of the ass cheek hanging out the bottom of that french maid costume) Anyway since i couldn't give you all candy separately here's my Halloween offering to you all...

Ne-Yo and Fabolous on the same track... I'm going to save myself some time, you know what to do...

Ne-Yo feat. Fabolous- How I Do

**UPDATE**

Here's one more from the man with the best pen in the game entitled Comfortable...Shouts tp BMF for this joint

Ne-yo- Comfortable

I've been telling anyone that will listen that Florida native rapper Ace Hood is gonna blow. He's lyrics are anything special, but the energy in his voice and the way he rides the beat on every song is a rare talent... Do yourself a favor and take a listen to this one

Ace Hood- Get'em Up (prod. by Drumma Boy)
